Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary fetes national officer Mrs. Marian McBride, extreme right, recently named flag-bearer for the National Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, was honored by the Auxiliary's Louisiana Department and the Michael J. Calandres Post Auxiliary unit at a reception given to celebrate the Louisiana woman's election to the national office, which took place at the national convention held last week in Columbus, Ohio. Left to right are shown Mrs. Rosalie Schill, department president, and Mrs. Alva Finley, president of the post auxiliary. The department presented a gift and the post unit flowers. Mrs. McBride is department secretary and a past president of the Calandres Post group.
